The Greater India
In the belief of Greater India, we’ve been thinking about the very first tool to add to our toolbox. What is that one thing that people need at the moment? What is that one thing that people need in India? Then, we looked around.
We found people losing jobs due to COVID-19. We found people suffering from their inability to pay the bills, food, or even the hospital fees. When we hear about those people, it hurts.
After witnessing the agony in their day-to-day lives, we realized that our first goal shouldn’t be anything else but to help India bounce back from the pandemic depression. Once people overcome the challenges they are faced with, we believe that they will gain more margins to help envision what the better India is.
As a multinational company that received a lot from the Indian community, we sincerely want to bring a positive change. A change that would help India. Every morning, we dream of being a ladder for the “Greater India Initiative” by offering the least we could do.
The Job Portal
That being said, we learned that for you to work towards Greater India, you must first well address your current challenges. So we decided to help you escape the COVID-19 death valley by providing you a powerful job portal as your first tool — the CareerChat Job Portal. CareerChat is a movement, but it is also an accessible job portal that is dedicated to becoming your personal career coach and recruiting team.
We sincerely wish that CareerChat will become your go-to choice when looking for jobs. Unlike other job portals, we have a group of professional career counselors that personally coach you until you get the job you need.
Additionally, we are opening it for free until the COVID-19 crisis is over because we don’t want to add to your financial burden. Our mission is to make our toolbox accessible for everyone, and making the toolbox unaffordable in hard times is simply not our interest.
As a multinational for-profit company, it was a difficult choice. But we believe profit comes last in the Greater India we envision.
The Achievements
In September 2020, we had a test launch of CareerChat. We tested with IT students and companies looking for freshers and interns. It was successful in the sense that we learned a lot about what people actually wanted. We received much valuable feedback, and we’re gradually applying the feedback.
For three months of the test period, we were able to achieve the following:

- 30,000+ users registered
- 1,000 companies
- 22,000+ applications
- 15 minutes of average usage duration
